The game at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium saw the Terrapins put up a valiant fight. The home team's offense accumulated a total of 365 yards, with their rushing attack contributing 173 yards to that tally. A highlight was an impressive 60-yard touchdown run, which stood as the longest rushing play of the game for either team. The passing game also added two touchdowns and accounted for 210 yards through the air.

Maryland's quarterback ended with a respectable passer rating of approximately 145 and completed nearly 63 percent of his passes. Despite being sacked twice, he managed to maintain an average of almost eight yards per pass attempt. On third down conversions, Maryland was successful about 43 percent of the time and even better on fourth down with a success rate close to 67 percent.

Defensively, Maryland recorded one interception but could not capitalize on it with return yards. They were disciplined throughout most of the game but still incurred six penalties totaling over sixty penalty yards.

Special teams had mixed results; while there were no blocked punts or punt returns for touchdowns, Maryland's punting unit did manage to place one punt inside Indiana's twenty-yard line and had an average net yardage close to forty-four per punt attempt.

The visiting Hoosiers' performance was marked by scoring in every quarter and securing enough points early on to maintain their lead despite strong efforts from Maryland in subsequent quarters. Indiana capitalized on both offensive opportunities and defensive plays when it mattered most.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate another exciting game as the Terrapins will be playing away against Minnesota Golden Gophers at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on October 26th at approximately half-past seven PM local time. This upcoming contest will be broadcasted live on ESPN for those who wish to follow along from afar.
