As the Memphis Tigers gear up to host the North Texas Mean Green at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, fans are looking forward to what promises to be an exhilarating college football matchup. In their last home game on September 17 against the Arkansas State Red Wolves, the Tigers showcased a potent offense with a total of 547 yards and six touchdowns. Their passing game was particularly impressive, racking up 360 yards with a completion percentage of 68 percent. The defense also held its own by forcing two turnovers and securing one sack. This blend of offensive firepower and defensive resilience resulted in a comfortable 44-32 victory for Memphis.

The following week saw the Tigers take on Navy's Midshipmen away from home on September 10. Once again, Memphis' offense was relentless, accumulating over 500 total yards with balanced aerial and ground attacks that led them to a decisive 37-13 win. Their third-down efficiency stood out at an impressive 60 percent conversion rate, indicating their ability to sustain drives under pressure.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for the MT as they faced a tough challenge against Mississippi State Bulldogs on September 3. Despite scoring three touchdowns and achieving perfect red zone efficiency, they were overwhelmed by Mississippi State's robust play which led to a heavy defeat of 49-23 for MT.

Looking ahead to their encounter with NTX, it is crucial for MT fans not only to consider these past performances but also how well-rounded this team has become since then. With an average gain per play above seven yards in previous games and high red zone success rates (100 percent against Arkansas State), MT has demonstrated that they can capitalize when it matters most.

On defense, while there have been some lapses as seen in Starkville against MSST where they allowed significant points on board; however overall statistics suggest improvement over time - especially considering how effectively they managed turnovers during these matches.

MT should focus on maintaining possession time which was notably lower during their loss compared with wins; controlling clock will be key against NTX who will undoubtedly come prepared for battle at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.

The upcoming game is scheduled for September 24 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis TN starting at 2:30 PM local time (7:30 PM GMT). Fans can catch all action live via broadcast network ESPN+. It’s set up to be another thrilling chapter in college football – one where Tiger fans hope their team continues its winning ways right here in heart of Tennessee!
