Key Performances on Both Sides

The Memphis offense was electric, amassing a total of 659 yards. Quarterback Seth Henigan led the charge with 371 passing yards, completing 32 passes out of 56 attempts and throwing for two touchdowns. However, his efforts were slightly marred by an interception that was returned for a touchdown by Navy. On the ground, running backs Brandon Thomas and Mario Anderson Jr. were standout performers for Memphis. Thomas rushed for 125 yards on just 12 carries including one touchdown run that covered an impressive distance of 57 yards. Anderson Jr., not to be outdone, contributed significantly with three touchdowns and totaled 117 rushing yards over seventeen carries.

On receiving end, Koby Drake emerged as Henigan's top target catching nine passes for a total of 102 yards although he did not find his way into the end zone this time around. Roc Taylor also made significant contributions with six receptions totaling up to100 yards and scoring once.

Despite these impressive offensive statistics from Memphis Tigers players like Seth Henigan and Brandon Thomas among others; it was not enough against Navy's consistent scoring drives throughout each quarter which ultimately led them to victory at their home venue - Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium witnessed by over thirty-one thousand fans.
