First Quarter

The game began with both teams testing each other's defenses. The Spartans managed to put points on the board first with a field goal by Martin Connington, who successfully converted two out of three attempts throughout the game. However, the Hoosiers quickly responded with a touchdown drive that set the tone for their offensive dominance.

Second Quarter

In an attempt to keep pace, Aidan Chiles led the Green and White's offense downfield and connected with Nick Marsh for a 15-yard touchdown pass. This marked one of Chiles' highlights as he completed 27 out of 33 passes for 243 yards without any interceptions. Despite this effort, Indiana's offense was relentless, adding two more touchdowns before halftime.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw Indiana extend their lead further as they capitalized on Michigan State's defensive lapses. The Spartans struggled to contain IU’s offensive prowess and were unable to score during this period despite several promising drives led by Chiles and Alessio Milivojevic.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter, both teams added field goals to their tally but it was too little too late for Michigan State. Defensive efforts from players like Armorion Smith and Dontavius Nash were notable but insufficient against IU’s well-rounded attack.

As part of our post-game report Michigan State Spartans analysis reveals that while passing efficiency was commendable at nearly 82 percent completion rate by Chiles alone; rushing attempts yielded only modest gains totaling just over seventy yards collectively from all backs including Brandon Tullis who had limited carries yet showed potential in short bursts.
