Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders Host UAB Blazers at Johnny Red Floyd Stadium in Football Encounter

As the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders gear up to face the UAB Blazers at Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a riveting football matchup. The upcoming game, scheduled for December 1st at 6:30 PM, is expected to draw a significant crowd and showcase the talents of both teams.

The MTS team comes into this game with an impressive performance in their last home game on November 24th against the same UAB Blazers. Dominating on both sides of the ball, MTS secured a resounding victory with a score of 27-3. The defense was particularly noteworthy, racking up seven sacks and twelve tackles for loss while holding UAB to just three points. Offensively, they were efficient in the air with a completion percentage of nearly 76 percent and two touchdowns through passing.

In contrast, when looking back at their away game on November 17th against Kentucky Wildcats, MTS faced challenges that resulted in a loss of 23-34. Despite this setback, there were positive takeaways; notably their quarterback's impressive passing rating of approximately 189 and completing over 90 percent of his passes for three touchdowns.

However, it was during their visit to El Paso where MTS truly shone bright like never before this season. On November 10th against the UTEP Miners, they put up an astonishing total offense tallying close to half-a-thousand yards leading them towards scoring forty-eight points while allowing thirty-two from their opponents.

The offensive prowess displayed by MTS is not something that can be overlooked going into this next encounter with UAB. With such high efficiency in red zone attempts (100 percent success rate) and an average gain per play well over six yards against UTEP Miners; it's clear that when they click offensively there aren't many defenses that can slow them down.

MTS fans should feel confident about their team’s chances given these past performances but must also acknowledge that football is unpredictable and anything can happen on any given Saturday.

With all eyes set towards December first’s clash under Murfreesboro skies; loyal supporters should mark their calendars as CBS Sports Network will broadcast live from Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium starting at six-thirty PM local time – ensuring no one misses out on what could potentially become another memorable chapter in Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders' history books.
