Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders VS Kentucky Wildcats

The game began with the Wildcats taking a commanding lead in the first quarter, scoring 17 points to none from the Blue Raiders. However, Middle Tennessee showed resilience by putting up 10 points in the second quarter while holding Kentucky to seven. The third quarter saw both teams battling hard on offense with Kentucky adding another seven points and Middle Tennessee six. In the final quarter, Middle Tennessee managed to outscore Kentucky by four points but it was not enough to bridge the gap.

Middle Tennessee's passing game was strong; they completed 30 out of 33 attempts for a total of 293 yards and three touchdowns. Their longest pass was for 34 yards and they achieved an impressive completion percentage of roughly 91 percent with an average of almost nine yards per pass. The quarterback rating stood high at around 189.

On defense, Middle Tennessee recorded one sack for ten yards lost and forced one fumble during play but did not manage any interceptions or recoveries from fumbles. They also contained their penalties significantly with only six infractions costing them a total of 52 yards.

The rushing attack added another dimension to their offense as they gained a solid average of over four yards per attempt totaling up to 170 rushing yards over the course of the game; their longest rush being an impressive run of 35 yards.

Special teams had mixed results as well; while there were no blocked punts or punt returns for touchdowns, one punt did land inside the twenty-yard line contributing positively towards field position battles throughout this tough contest.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate seeing more action from their team when Middle Tennessee hosts UAB Blazers at Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium on November 24th at around eight o'clock in Murfreesboro. This upcoming event will be broadcasted on ESPN3 where supporters can tune in to watch live coverage as it unfolds under stadium lights.
