First Quarter

The game began with an explosive start for the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, who managed to put up 14 points on the board. Nicholas Vattiato, their quarterback, showcased his passing skills by completing several key throws that led to touchdowns. His performance set an early tone for the game and gave hope to fans of a potential upset.

Second Quarter

However, things took a turn as Delaware responded strongly in the second quarter. The home team scored 17 points while keeping MTSU scoreless during this period. Despite efforts from players like Abdul Muhammad on defense, who recovered a fumble, it wasn't enough to halt Delaware's momentum.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, both teams traded touchdowns as they battled fiercely on both ends of the field. Jekail Middlebrook contributed significantly with his rushing prowess by scoring one touchdown and gaining crucial yards for first downs.

Fourth Quarter

As time wound down in the fourth quarter, MTSU managed another touchdown but fell short of overtaking their opponents despite strong defensive plays including an interception by Muaaz Byard which briefly shifted momentum back towards them.

Despite this loss being part of what went wrong for Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders throughout their season so far; there were notable performances worth highlighting such as Hunter Tipton's receiving touchdown which kept hopes alive until late into playtime.
