First Quarter


The Gophers started strong, taking an early lead with a touchdown. Drake Lindsey's precision passing was evident as he completed 26 of his 39 attempts for a total of 197 yards. Fame Ijeboi contributed significantly to the ground game with his longest rush of 49 yards and one touchdown.


Second Quarter


Minnesota extended their lead by adding three more points through Brady Denaburg's field goal. The defense played a crucial role throughout the first half, keeping the Spartans scoreless and showcasing their strength with seven sacks overall.


Third Quarter


Michigan State began to mount a comeback in the third quarter, scoring their first touchdown of the game. However, Minnesota's defense remained resilient with standout performances from players like Anthony Smith and Deven Eastern who each recorded sacks.


Fourth Quarter


The final quarter saw both teams exchanging blows as Michigan State added another ten points to tie up the game. Despite this surge from 'State', Minny managed to hold on defensively while maintaining offensive pressure through strategic plays by Lindsey and Ijeboi.


Overtime
