Despite these efforts, they were unable to secure any interceptions or force more than one fumble throughout the game.

On offense, Mississippi State's passing game struggled as they completed only 15 out of 27 attempts for a total of 107 yards and one touchdown pass that covered just one yard. The quarterback was under pressure throughout the game and was sacked four times. However, three interceptions by Mississippi State's offense turned out to be costly mistakes contributing significantly to their defeat.

Despite these individual moments of success, it wasn't enough against an Alabama team that scored consistently across all quarters putting up fourteen points in the first quarter alone followed by seventeen in second quarter action before adding another nine points across both third and fourth quarters combined.

Looking ahead after this tough loss on home turf, fans can mark their calendars for when Mississippi State will next take on Western Michigan Broncos away from home. This upcoming contest is scheduled for October seventh at four PM local time (CDT) at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field in Starkville MS which will be broadcasted live on SEC Network available via satellite channel six hundred eleven.
