First Quarter


The Bulldogs set an early tone in the first quarter by scoring 10 points while limiting Southern Miss to just a field goal. Blake Shapen led MSU's offense with precision passing, completing 76 percent of his throws for a total of 270 yards and one touchdown throughout the game.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, both teams managed to add points on the board; however, it was Southern Miss who found some rhythm by scoring a touchdown alongside another field goal from MSU's Kyle Ferrie.


Third Quarter
