First Quarter

The opening quarter saw Missouri take an early lead with a field goal by Oliver Robbins, putting them ahead 3-0. The Tigers' defense held strong, preventing any scoring from the Sooners during this period.

Second Quarter

However, things took a turn in the second quarter when Oklahoma's offense found its rhythm. The Boomer Sooners scored two touchdowns and added an extra point to take control of the game. Despite efforts from Mizzou's defense, including notable tackles by Josiah Trotter and Zion Young's sack, they couldn't stop Oklahoma’s surge.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, both teams struggled to make significant offensive gains. Missouri managed another field goal thanks to Robert Meyer’s accurate kick from 39 yards out. Meanwhile, Oklahoma extended their lead slightly with a field goal of their own.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter was marked by defensive resilience on both sides but no additional points were added to either team's tally. Nate Johnson and Chris McClellan contributed defensively for Mizzou but it wasn't enough to change their fortunes in Norman.

Despite some solid individual performances and forcing four three-and-outs against Oklahoma's offense, what went wrong for Missouri Tigers was evident in their inability to capitalize on red zone opportunities and turnovers that plagued them throughout this encounter.

Looking ahead for post-game thoughts Missouri Tigers fans can anticipate an exciting clash as they prepare for their next game against Arkansas Razorbacks scheduled on November 29th at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville at 3:30 PM EDT which will be broadcasted live on SEC Network.
