In their last outing on October 28th against the Purdue Boilermakers, NEB showcased a dominant performance with a convincing 31-14 victory. Their offense was particularly impressive, racking up a total of 277 yards and four touchdowns. The passing game was efficient; despite only six completions out of eleven attempts, two resulted in touchdowns including an electrifying 73-yard score. On the ground, NEB managed to churn out 155 yards and found success in red zone situations.

Defensively, NEB has been showing signs of improvement as well. They held their opponents to just two scores while forcing five fumbles and securing two interceptions during their last game. This defensive resilience will be crucial when they go up against MSU's offense.

The special teams unit also deserves praise for its contribution; they executed flawlessly with a field goal from an impressive distance of 55 yards and maintained solid kickoff coverage throughout the game.

However, it's not all smooth sailing for NEB as they head into enemy territory. Turnovers have been a concern; they lost four fumbles against Purdue which could have easily tipped the scales if not for their defense stepping up big time.

On the other side of the field stands MSU who will certainly look to capitalize on any mistakes made by NEB. It is essential that NEB maintains discipline and minimizes errors if they wish to emerge victorious from Spartan Stadium.

Looking back further into this season’s games provides additional insights into what can be expected from NEB’s performance against MSU. For instance, during their October 21st clash with Northwestern Wildcats where they won by eight points (17-9), it was evident that defense played a pivotal role – accumulating eight sacks and limiting Northwestern’s scoring opportunities significantly.

The Cornhuskers' ability to control possession time has also been notable – dominating playtime with over thirty minutes in both mentioned games shows an ability to manage tempo effectively which could prove vital in keeping MSU's offense off-field come game day.

With these factors considered alongside recent form – boasting wins in five out of eight games thus far – there is every reason for optimism among Nebraska fans as November approaches swiftly along with this critical matchup at Spartan Stadium scheduled for November 4th at noon local time (11 AM CST). Fans eager not to miss any action should tune into Fox Sports 1 or satellite channel number 219 where live coverage will be available.
