The Cornhuskers' offense was on full display as they amassed a total of 277 yards. The passing game contributed significantly with quarterback ratings soaring to an impressive 207.7 off six completions from eleven attempts, yielding two touchdowns and no interceptions. One remarkable pass completion resulted in a longest touchdown of 73 yards. On the ground, Nebraska's rushing efforts were consistent, totaling up to 155 yards which included one touchdown from a longest rush of 28 yards.

Nebraska's defense also played an integral role in securing this win by forcing turnovers and stifling Purdue's offensive efforts. The defensive unit for the Cornhuskers recorded two interceptions and recovered one fumble while defending passes twice throughout the game.

Special teams had their share of highlights too; Nebraska scored through special plays including one blocked field goal that was returned for an impressive touchdown spanning across 68 yards. Their placekicker was perfect on the day, contributing with a successful field goal from beyond fifty yards out and completing all four extra point attempts.

Penalties could have been problematic for both sides but remained relatively low with Nebraska committing seven penalties amounting to sixty-four penalty yards.

Looking ahead, fans can mark their calendars for another exciting game as the Nebraska Cornhuskers will face off against Michigan State Spartans at Spartan Stadium on November fourth at eleven AM Central Time (12 PM Eastern Time). This upcoming contest will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports one channel two hundred nineteen for fans unable to attend in person at East Lansing.
