Special teams had mixed results; while there was one successful extra point kick made, there was also one missed field goal attempt from within the range of forty-nine yards. Punting averaged around forty-two net yards across three punts with none blocked or returned for touchdowns.


On defense, Nebraska showed resilience with forty-two assists combined but failed to record any interceptions or forced fumbles during this encounter. Penalties were relatively low with only four infractions costing them thirty penalty yards.


The Wolverines demonstrated strong offensive capabilities throughout all quarters scoring fourteen points in both first and second periods followed by seven and ten points respectively in third and fourth quarters leading to their comprehensive victory over the Cornhuskers.
