The rushing attack added to their dominance on the ground with 121 rushing yards and one touchdown. A highlight from their running game included a longest run of 60 yards and another rush that resulted in a touchdown from just inside the red zone at fifteen yards out.

Special teams contributed to this all-around performance as well; field goal kickers were perfect on the day, making both attempted field goals with one being from as far as 36 yards out. Additionally, kickoffs totaled up to an impressive distance of 530 yards over eight attempts.

On defense, Nevada managed to sack Utah State's quarterback once for twelve lost yardage while also limiting them offensively across various metrics. The defensive unit held strong throughout four quarters and did not allow any touchdowns or interceptions during this period.

Penalties could have been problematic for Nevada as they committed ten penalties totaling seventy-four penalty yards but it did not significantly hinder their performance or momentum during this contest.
