First Quarter

The opening quarter set the tone for the match as Utah State quickly established dominance, scoring 24 points without reply. The Wolf Pack struggled to find their rhythm early on, unable to penetrate the Aggies' defense effectively.

Second Quarter

The second quarter saw more of the same as Utah State continued their offensive onslaught, adding another 17 points to their tally. Despite efforts from Nevada's defensive line, including notable contributions from Nakian Jackson who recorded 12 combined tackles and assists, they couldn't halt the Aggies' momentum.

Third Quarter

Nevada found some footing in the third quarter when Chubba Purdy connected for two passing touchdowns. Purdy showcased his potential with an impressive longest touchdown pass of 41 yards to Caleb Ramseur. However, this was matched by an equally determined response from Utah State who added another touchdown themselves.

Fourth Quarter

In a final push during the fourth quarter, both teams managed to score again; however, it was clear that time was not on Nevada's side. Aiden Walker made significant defensive plays contributing eight combined tackles and assists but it wasn't enough to turn things around for Nevada.

Despite this setback for Nevada Wolf Pack post-match stats indicate areas where improvement is needed but also highlight individual performances worth noting such as Bailey Ettridge’s consistent punting averaging over 42 yards per attempt across six punts.
