In their last outing on November 12th, the Lobos fell to Boise State Broncos with a score of 14-42. Despite this loss, there were glimpses of promise within the team’s performance. The rushing attack managed to put up two touchdowns and averaged almost four yards per carry. However, it was clear that turnovers and penalties were significant factors that held back their offense.

The previous game against UNLV Rebels on November 4th also ended in defeat for NM, with a final score of 14-56. Although they managed two touchdowns again—one passing and one rushing—their defense struggled significantly as they failed to record any sacks or interceptions.

Looking further back at October 29th against Nevada Wolf Pack, NM scored more points than in recent games (24), but still came up short as they lost by ten points. Their passing game showed some life with over three hundred yards through the air and one touchdown pass that went for a long gain of fifty-nine yards.

Despite these setbacks, there are areas where NM can capitalize against Fresno State Bulldogs (FRE). The Lobos have demonstrated an ability to find the end zone when it comes down to red zone opportunities; maintaining this efficiency will be crucial. Additionally, minimizing turnovers will be key—NM has shown vulnerability here in past games which FRE could exploit if not addressed.

The defense must step up its game too; creating pressure on FRE’s quarterback could lead to mistakes and potentially turn the tide in favor of NM. It’s time for them to tighten up their play and make those critical stops when needed most.

Lobos fans should look forward to seeing whether their team can bounce back from adversity with improved discipline and execution on both sides of the ball. This matchup is not just about ending this season on a high note but also setting a tone for next year's campaign—a chance for redemption lies ahead at Valley Children's Stadium.

Remember Lobo fans: mark your calendars! The action unfolds under the lights at Valley Children's Stadium in Fresno, CA on November 19th at 7:30 PM local time (3:30 AM GMT). You won't want to miss this clash broadcasted live on Fox Sports 1 via satellite channel number 219—join your fellow supporters as New Mexico looks towards closing out their season with determination and pride!
