Aggie Memorial Stadium Hosts New Mexico State Aggies and Fresno State Bulldogs in Football Showdown

In a hard-fought game at Aggie Memorial Stadium, the New Mexico State Aggies faced off against the Fresno State Bulldogs. The final score reflected a challenging contest with the Bulldogs emerging victorious 30-17. The Aggies now stand at 0-1 for the season, while the Bulldogs have taken their record to 1-0.

The New Mexico State Aggies displayed a determined effort throughout the game. Their offense accumulated a total of 308 yards, with 210 coming through the air and another 105 on the ground. The passing game saw quarterback action resulting in one touchdown pass and three interceptions, while completing 26 out of 47 attempts for an average of about four yards per attempt. Despite these challenges, they managed to secure seven first downs via passing.

The Bulldogs had their share of highlights as well including scoring evenly across three quarters before being held scoreless in the fourth quarter by The Aggies' defense that managed six tackles for loss and sacked Fresno's quarterback once for seven lost yards.
