The New Mexico State Aggies showcased their rushing capabilities throughout the game, accumulating an impressive 257 yards on the ground over 34 attempts. This included a standout performance featuring a remarkable 56-yard touchdown run which contributed to their total of four rushing touchdowns for the night. The ground game was clearly where they excelled, averaging about eight yards per carry.

Through aerial efforts, however, success was more limited for New Mexico State as they completed only about 44 percent of their passes for an accumulated passing yardage of 228 with no passing touchdowns and two interceptions thrown. Their red zone efficiency remained impeccable though; every time they entered this critical area they scored, maintaining a perfect conversion rate both in red zone and goal-to-go situations.

Special teams also played their part effectively; field goal kickers were flawless with two successful attempts out of two – one from within twenty-nine yards and another from forty-nine yards out – contributing six points to their overall score without any blocks or misses.

On defense, while sacks were minimal at one sack recorded during playtime and forced fumbles amounted to three with two recoveries by New Mexico State's defense indicating some level of pressure applied on opposing players.

The Hawaii Warriors demonstrated strong offensive prowess as well but details regarding their performance are not within focus here except to acknowledge that they managed to outscore New Mexico State leading them to secure victory on home turf.
