On their home turf at Wayne Day Family Field at Carter-Finley Stadium, the North Carolina State Wolfpack demonstrated a balanced attack against the visiting Miami Hurricanes. The offense accumulated 231 total yards, with an average gain of nearly five yards per play. The rushing game was particularly effective, contributing 108 yards to the total offense. A highlight was a spectacular 31-yard touchdown run that showcased the team's ability to break through tough defenses.

The passing game also played its part in securing victory for the Wolfpack. Despite being sacked twice, they managed to complete over half their passes for 123 yards and one touchdown pass of twelve yards. Their efficiency shone through in critical areas; they were successful on all three redzone attempts and both goal-to-go situations.

Defensively, North Carolina State was relentless throughout the game. They sacked Miami's quarterback three times for a loss of twenty-two yards and recorded three interceptions that were returned for thirty-nine yards combined. This defensive pressure limited Miami's scoring opportunities significantly.

Special teams contributed notably as well; two field goals were successfully made from within thirty-nine yards out, adding six points to the scoreboard for NCST. The kicking unit had an impressive day too – sending five kickoffs downfield for a total of three hundred twenty-five yards and achieving touchbacks on three occasions.

Penalties did not play a significant role in this contest as only five were called against NCST for forty-eight penalty-yards lost – demonstrating disciplined play by both sides during this matchup.

Looking ahead after this home victory, fans can anticipate another exciting encounter as North Carolina State prepares to face Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium in Winston-Salem on November 11th at 7 PM Eastern Time. This upcoming game will be broadcasted live on The CW network where supporters can tune in to follow their team’s performance.
