The game, held at Wayne Day Family Field at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, saw the Notre Dame Fighting Irish demonstrate their offensive capabilities early on. The team's passing game was particularly effective; they completed 15 out of 24 pass attempts for a total of 286 yards. This aerial assault included four touchdowns through the air, with one pass stretching for an impressive distance of 65 yards and another resulting in a notable 40-yard touchdown.

On the ground, Notre Dame was equally formidable. They rushed for a total of 170 yards across 37 attempts. A highlight was an electrifying run that broke free for an incredible distance of 80 yards straight into the end zone. This contributed to two rushing touchdowns and helped achieve six first downs from running plays alone.

Special teams also played their part in this comprehensive team performance. The field goal unit managed to convert one out of two attempts from beyond fifty yards, showcasing both power and precision.

Defensively, Notre Dame made significant contributions as well by intercepting three passes from NCST quarterbacks and forcing three fumbles throughout the game – though only one resulted in lost possession for NCST.

The Wolfpack did not go down without showing resilience; they scored ten points in the third quarter and added another seven points in the fourth quarter but were unable to overcome Notre Dame's lead or staunch defense.

Penalties played a role as well; ND incurred ten penalties totaling eighty-two penalty yards which could have been costly on another day but ultimately did not deter them from securing victory.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for when Notre Dame will host Central Michigan Chippewas at Notre Dame Stadium on September 16th at approximately six-thirty PM local time (Eastern Time). Fans unable to attend can watch this upcoming contest live on Peacock network where they will hope to see their team continue its winning ways.
