As the Oklahoma State Cowboys prepare to face off against the Kansas Jayhawks at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, fans are eager to see if the Cowboys can bounce back from their recent performance. The last outing for the Cowboys was a tough one. On October 29th against the Kansas State Wildcats, they were unable to put any points on the board, ending with a score of 0-48. This shutout was characterized by an underwhelming offensive display and missed opportunities. The offense managed only 217 total yards and turned over the ball three times. With a completion percentage of just 45 percent and two interceptions thrown, it's clear that passing efficiency needs significant improvement.

However, not all is bleak for Oklahoma State fans. Looking back at their October 22nd game against Texas Longhorns provides some hope. The Cowboys secured a win with a score of 41-34 in Stillwater thanks to an explosive offensive performance that racked up an impressive total of 535 yards. Their red zone efficiency stood out with an impressive success rate of 80 percent.

The rushing attack also showed promise during their October 15th encounter with TCU Horned Frogs despite falling short by three points in a high-scoring affair (40-43). They demonstrated resilience and capability in critical situations by converting on all red zone attempts and scoring touchdowns on each goal-to-go situation they faced.

Against KAN, OKS must leverage these strengths while addressing weaknesses exposed in previous games—particularly turnovers and passing accuracy—to secure victory on enemy turf.

Defensively speaking, OKS has shown varying levels of effectiveness but will need to tighten up after allowing substantial points in recent games. A return to form similar to their defensive effort against TEX—where they recorded three interceptions—is crucial for containing KAN's offense.

The Jayhawks should not be underestimated; they will look to exploit any cracks in OKS's armor while defending their home field advantage fiercely. However, if OKS can channel their tenacity from earlier victories and refine their execution on both sides of the ball, there is every reason for Cowboy fans to anticipate success come game day.

Mark your calendars: November 5th at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium is where you'll want your eyes glued as kickoff commences at precisely half past seven PM local time (7:30 PM). Fans unable or preferring not to attend can catch live action via Fox Sports 1 on satellite channel number two hundred nineteen.
