Oklahoma State Cowboys Dominate at Boone Pickens Stadium Against TCU Horned Frogs in Football Showdown

In a commanding display of football, the Oklahoma State Cowboys with a 12-2 record outplayed the TCU Horned Frogs, who stood at 5-7, in an emphatic 63-17 victory. The Cowboys' offense was unstoppable as they amassed a total of 682 yards and scored nine touchdowns.

The game held at Boone Pickens Stadium saw the home team, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, deliver an outstanding performance on both sides of the ball. The defense was particularly impressive with seven sacks and ten tackles for loss. They also forced one fumble while keeping their discipline to only one penalty for fifteen yards throughout the game.


On offense, the rushing attack was relentless as it accumulated 447 yards on sixty-two attempts which translated into eight touchdowns. One rush stood out as it broke free for a staggering sixty-three-yard touchdown. The passing game complemented this ground dominance efficiently; seventeen completions from twenty-five attempts resulted in one touchdown and two hundred thirty-five passing yards.

Special teams contributed to this comprehensive team effort with ten kickoffs totaling six hundred eight yards and three touchbacks. Punt returns were limited but effective with six return yards from one attempt.


The red zone efficiency was perfect; every trip inside the opponent's twenty-yard line resulted in points with seven successes from seven attempts. Third-down conversions were achieved at an impressive rate of seventy-eight percent success over fourteen attempts.
