Oklahoma State Cowboys Dismantle Tulsa Golden Hurricane with a Commanding 45-10 Victory

The Oklahoma State Cowboys improved their season to a perfect 3-0 record after a commanding 45-10 victory over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The game, held at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium, saw the Cowboys dominate from start to finish, leaving the Golden Hurricane with a 1-2 record for the season.

Game Highlights


The Oklahoma State offense was unstoppable, amassing a total of 560 yards. Quarterback Alan Bowman led the charge with an impressive performance, throwing for 396 yards and five touchdowns on a completion rate of over 77 percent. His connection with wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling was particularly lethal; Stribling racked up 174 receiving yards and found the end zone twice.


On defense, Oklahoma State was just as formidable. The team recorded two sacks and six tackles for loss while limiting Tulsa to only ten points throughout the game. Cornerback Cam Smith made one of the game's standout plays with an interception return for 51 yards, showcasing Oklahoma State's defensive prowess alongside their offensive firepower.


Special teams also contributed significantly to the win, highlighted by punter Wes Pahl's long punt of 52 yards which helped in pinning Tulsa back in their own territory multiple times throughout the match.


Player Performances


Several players had notable performances that contributed to this comprehensive victory. Besides Bowman and Stribling's offensive showcase, running back Trent Howland provided balance to the attack with his ground game efforts totaling over fifty-three rushing yards on ten attempts.


Defensively Kendal Daniels made his presence felt by notching one sack and contributing to one quarterback hit which played into disrupting Tulsa’s offensive rhythm.
