Ole Miss Rebels Dismantle Arkansas Razorbacks with Explosive Offense and Dominant Defense

The Ole Miss Rebels improved their season record to 7-2 after a commanding victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks, who fell to 5-4. The game, held at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, ended with a score of 63-31 in favor of the visiting team.

Ole Miss Offensive Juggernaut


The Rebels' offense was nothing short of spectacular, amassing a total of 694 yards. Quarterback Jaxson Dart led the charge with an impressive performance, throwing for 515 yards and six touchdowns on an 81 percent completion rate. Dart's precision passing was complemented by wide receiver Jordan Watkins, who had a standout game with eight receptions for 254 yards and five touchdowns. Tight end Dae'Quan Wright also made significant contributions with nine receptions for 99 yards and two touchdowns.


The ground game added another dimension to Ole Miss's offensive onslaught. Although not as dominant as their passing game, they managed to rush for a total of 132 yards and one touchdown across various carriers.

Defensive Prowess Keeps Razorbacks at Bay


On defense, Ole Miss was equally impressive. The team racked up eight sacks and forced two fumbles while holding the Razorbacks to just 31 points. Defensive end Princely Umanmielen was particularly effective, contributing two sacks and three tackles. Linebacker TJ Dottery made his presence felt by recording two sacks among his six tackles and forcing one fumble.


Special teams played their part too; punter Fraser Masin averaged 43 yards on his punts, placing one inside the Arkansas's twenty-yard line which contributed to controlling field position throughout the contest.
