Defensively, Penn State also made its presence felt by recording three sacks and nine tackles for loss against Purdue's offense. Dani Dennis-Sutton, Amin Vanover, and Coziah Izzard each contributed with a sack apiece; their pressure on Purdue’s quarterback disrupted many plays before they could develop.

Tyler Warren emerged as one of the game’s most impactful players not just on the ground but also through air where he led all receivers with eight receptions totaling 127 yards and securing one touchdown. Special teams also contributed significantly to field position battles as punter Riley Thompson averaged an impressive net yardage across four punts while ensuring two landed inside Purdue’s twenty-yard line.
