First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams exchanging blows with precision and determination. The Nittany Lions managed to put up 7 points on the board, thanks to a strategic play led by quarterback Drew Allar. However, it was UCLA who took an early lead with a score of 10 points.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, the Bruins extended their lead significantly by adding another 17 points. The Westwood Warriors capitalized on Penn State's defensive lapses and showcased their offensive prowess. Despite multiple attempts from PSU's defense led by Zane Durant and Zuriah Fisher who each recorded sacks, they couldn't contain UCLA’s relentless attack.

Third Quarter

The third quarter witnessed a resurgence from PSU as they scored two touchdowns to narrow down the deficit. Drew Allar continued his impressive performance with precise passes that resulted in crucial touchdowns for his team. Meanwhile, Kaytron Allen contributed significantly on ground plays with his rushing abilities.

Fourth Quarter

As tensions rose in the final quarter, both teams fought fiercely for control over this pivotal period. The Nittany Lions managed to score an additional 16 points but fell short as UCLA secured victory with an additional touchdown and safety that sealed their win at home turf.

Despite this setback against UCLA Bruins final score being unfavorable for them; there were positive takeaways such as post-game thoughts Penn State Nittany Lions could reflect upon including standout performances from players like Khalil Dinkins who caught one of Allar’s touchdown passes during critical moments when needed most!
