The game at Acrisure Stadium saw the home team, the Pittsburgh Panthers, put up an impressive performance against their opponents. The Panthers' defense was particularly noteworthy, recording four sacks and accumulating a total loss of 42 yards for the Cardinals. Additionally, they forced two fumbles and made two interceptions that were returned for 88 yards; one of these interceptions resulted in an electrifying touchdown return spanning 86 yards.

On offense, the Pittsburgh Panthers showcased efficiency in both passing and rushing attacks. The quarterback threw for two touchdowns with no interceptions and completed passes totaling 200 yards. One remarkable pass connected for a long touchdown covering 46 yards. On the ground, despite being held to an average of just under three yards per carry on their rushing attempts totaling 88 yards, they managed to find the end zone twice.

Special teams also contributed significantly to this comprehensive team win. The kicking unit was perfect on field goals with one successful attempt from beyond forty-nine yards out and converted all five extra-point kicks.

The Louisville Cardinals did not go down without a fight as they managed to score twenty-one points throughout the game but were unable to produce any points during either half's second quarter or fourth quarter due largely in part because of turnovers caused by Pittsburgh's defense which included those crucial interceptions mentioned earlier along with fumble recoveries that halted potential scoring drives by Louisville.

Looking ahead after this morale-boosting win for fans who follow closely every move made by their beloved team; next up is another challenge as away team when they face off against Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium located within Winston-Salem on October twenty-first at seven-thirty PM Eastern Time Zone (ET). This upcoming contest will be broadcasted live via ACC Network available through satellite channel six hundred twelve ensuring supporters won't miss any action from what promises yet another exciting football encounter!
