At Hard Rock Stadium, the Pittsburgh Panthers showcased an impressive offensive performance against the Miami (FL) Hurricanes. The Panthers accumulated a total of 510 yards with an average gain of eight yards per play. Their rushing attack was particularly effective, churning out 248 yards on the ground with three touchdowns, one being a notable 26-yard dash to the end zone. The passing game also contributed significantly with three touchdowns and 262 passing yards; one pass completed for a remarkable distance of 66 yards which also resulted in a touchdown.

Defensively, Pittsburgh was just as dominant. They recorded six sacks and ten tackles for loss while limiting their opponents to only sixteen points throughout the game. The defense also forced two interceptions and recovered one fumble, demonstrating their ability to disrupt Miami's offense effectively.

Special teams played their part as well; Pittsburgh's punting unit managed to pin down two kicks inside the opponent's twenty-yard line while maintaining an average net yardage close to forty per punt attempt. Additionally, kickoffs were strategically executed leading to four touchbacks.

Penalties were minimal for both sides with Pittsburgh committing only five penalties totaling sixty-five penalty yards throughout the game.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate watching their team again when they take on UCLA Bruins at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso on December 30th at 2:00 PM local time. This upcoming game will be broadcasted live on CBS for fans unable to attend in person but wishing not miss any action from their beloved team.
