The Scarlet Knights' triumph can be attributed to several standout performances and critical plays throughout the game. Athan Kaliakmanis, quarterback for Rutgers, had an impactful game with 240 passing yards, completing 17 out of 33 attempts which resulted in three touchdowns despite one interception. On the ground, Ja'shon Benjamin and Antwan Raymond contributed significantly to Rutgers' rushing attack. Benjamin rushed for 66 yards with an average of six yards per carry, while Raymond added another layer of depth by rushing for 73 yards across multiple carries.


Dymere Miller emerged as a key receiver with two touchdown receptions among his five catches totaling 58 receiving yards. Ian Strong also made notable contributions in receiving with four catches leading to one touchdown and accumulating a total of 89 receiving yards.
