The Bearkats demonstrated a dominant performance on both sides of the ball. Offensively, they amassed a total of 478 yards with an average gain of nearly six yards per play. The passing game was particularly effective; the quarterback threw for four touchdowns and completed 19 out of 37 attempts for a total of 283 yards. The longest pass completed was an impressive 56-yard throw which also resulted in the longest touchdown scored by the team.

On defense, Sam Houston State was just as formidable. They recorded four sacks and six tackles for loss while holding their opponents to fewer points than themselves. The defensive unit also made two interceptions and defended two passes, contributing significantly to limiting the Bears' scoring opportunities.

Special teams played their part too; all three field goal attempts were successful with the longest being from 32 yards out. In addition to perfect field goal kicking, all extra point kicks were made after each touchdown.

The rushing attack added balance to Sam Houston State's offense with one rushing touchdown and ten first downs achieved on foot. They attempted rushes on more than half their plays showing confidence in their ground game which produced a respectable average yardage per carry.

Central Arkansas did put up resistance despite falling short on points scored. Their efforts included matching Sam Houston State's two used timeouts but could not overcome the visitors' momentum throughout each quarter as reflected by quarter scores where only in third did they match or exceed Bearkats' scoring pace.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate another exciting matchup as Sam Houston State Bearkats will face Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks at NRG Stadium in Houston on October second year twenty-one at four PM local time (CDT). This game will be broadcasted live on ESPN+, allowing fans not able to attend another opportunity to follow their team's progress through this season's campaign.
