In a display of offensive firepower, the San Diego State Aztecs outscored the Nevada Wolf Pack 42-23. The home team, San Diego State Aztecs, dominated on the ground with a rushing total of 289 yards across 48 attempts, averaging over six yards per carry. One rush broke free for an explosive 67-yard touchdown run that electrified the crowd. In addition to their ground game success, the Aztecs also made significant strides through the air with their quarterback completing 15 out of 23 passes for a total of 205 yards and one touchdown pass. This included a long completion of 31 yards.

Special teams also played a pivotal role in this game as one kick return went for an astonishing distance resulting in another touchdown for the Aztecs; this time it was an incredible length-of-the-field return covering exactly one hundred yards. Moreover, punt returns contributed significantly to field position battles with one punt return going for seventy yards straight into the end zone.

Defensively, San Diego State showed tenacity by securing an interception that was returned for twenty-six yards and recovering a fumble as well. Their defensive efforts were further highlighted by sacking Nevada's quarterback once and limiting them to zero points during third quarter play.

The Nevada Wolf Pack fought valiantly but struggled to keep pace with their opponents' scoring rate despite accumulating twenty-three points themselves throughout four quarters. They managed to score ten points in first quarter but could not maintain that momentum against SDSU's robust defense which held them scoreless in third quarter.

Fans can look forward to more action from their beloved team as they prepare for their next encounter against New Mexico Lobos at home turf on November twenty-fourth at eight-thirty PM local time (San Diego). This upcoming game will be held at none other than San Diego County Credit Union Stadium itself and will be broadcasted live on CBS Sports Network via satellite channel two hundred twenty-one.
