In a display of offensive versatility, the San Diego State Aztecs accumulated a total of 355 yards against the Air Force defense. The rushing attack was particularly effective, contributing 187 yards to the team's total yardage. A standout moment came when one rush resulted in a remarkable 53-yard touchdown, highlighting the dynamic nature of the Aztec's ground game which saw three touchdowns from rushing plays alone.

The passing game also played a critical role in securing victory for San Diego State. Quarterback performance was notable with an efficient completion percentage of approximately 63 percent resulting in one touchdown and no interceptions thrown throughout the game. The longest pass completed stretched for an impressive 42 yards and culminated in a touchdown spanning 28 yards.

Special teams had their share of highlights as well; notably, one punt was blocked by San Diego State's unit contributing to their overall field position advantage. Despite missing their only field goal attempt from within the range of 39 yards, they were flawless on extra points with four successful kicks out of four attempts.

Defensively, San Diego State managed to keep penalties at bay with zero infractions recorded during gameplay—an exemplary display of discipline on that side of the ball. They also secured one interception and limited Air Force's scoring opportunities significantly throughout each quarter except for a surge by Air Force in the fourth quarter where they scored fifteen points.

On special teams for Air Force Falcons, kick return efforts were commendable as they amassed nearly hundred return yards off kickoffs which included two touchbacks among five kickoffs received.

Looking ahead to future games without making any predictions or assumptions about outcomes: The next challenge awaiting San Diego State will be against Northern Illinois Huskies at home turf—San Diego County Credit Union Stadium—on October first at seven thirty PM local time (Pacific Time).
