Key performances for San Diego State included quarterback Danny O'Neil, who threw for 155 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. His efforts were bolstered by running back Marquez Cooper, who rushed for 94 yards on 16 attempts, scoring one touchdown and contributing significantly to the team's total rushing yardage of 101. Wide receiver Jordan Napier also stood out with eight receptions totaling 79 yards and securing one touchdown.


On special teams, Gabriel Plascencia was perfect on the day, making his only field goal attempt from 27 yards out while successfully converting all three extra-point attempts. Punter Tyler Pastula had an impressive game as well, averaging over 50 yards across four punts with two landing inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
