First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Aztecs struggle to contain the offensive prowess of their opponents. The Rainbow Warriors quickly established dominance with two touchdowns, leaving SDSU trailing with only a field goal by Gabriel Plascencia, who successfully converted from 43 yards out.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, SDSU's defense showed glimpses of resilience with Owen Chambliss leading tackles and achieving two sacks. Despite these efforts, Hawai'i extended their lead further by adding another touchdown and a field goal. The Aztecs managed another field goal from Plascencia but failed to capitalize on other opportunities.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, SDSU's offense continued to face challenges against a formidable defense from Hawai'i. Jayden Denegal struggled under pressure with three sacks and two interceptions that hindered any potential comeback for SDSU. Meanwhile, Deshawn McCuin provided some defensive highlights for SDSU by securing an interception.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter remained scoreless for both teams as defenses held firm on either side. Despite Hunter Green's impressive punting performance averaging over 54 yards per punt attempt throughout this period – including one reaching up to 63 yards – it was not enough for an offensive breakthrough.
