Defensively, SMU made their presence felt by recording three sacks and six tackles for loss against Louisville's offense. Cameron Robertson stood out on defense with one sack for eight yards lost and one tackle for loss among his contributions.

Isaiah Nwokobia made crucial plays on defense with five tackles and played a pivotal role in securing an interception that halted Louisville's momentum at a key moment in the match.


Roderick Daniels Jr., besides contributing to SMU’s rushing touchdowns, managed to recover his own fumble without losing possession – showcasing both resilience and awareness during critical moments.
