First Quarter


The game kicked off with the Horned Frogs taking an early lead, scoring 7 points against SMU's field goal that brought them to just 3 points. The Mustangs' defense showed resilience early on, but it was clear that TCU's offense was prepared to test their limits.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, both teams managed to score another touchdown each. Kevin Jennings of SMU threw for one of his three touchdowns during this period, demonstrating his ability to find open receivers under pressure. Despite this effort, TCU matched their pace and maintained their lead.
