In their last home game on November 19 against the Kentucky Wildcats, the SC team eked out a narrow victory with a scoreline of 17-14. This win was characterized by solid defensive play, including two sacks and three forced fumbles. The offense managed to accumulate 257 total yards with an average gain of 4.3 yards per play. Notably, their passing completion stood at an impressive 70 percent which contributed significantly to their win.

The previous week's performance on November 11 against Vanderbilt's Commodores was even more dominant as SC trounced them with a staggering score of 47-6. Their offensive line shone brightly that day as they amassed an incredible total yardage of 487 with both passing and rushing touchdowns contributing to this landslide victory.

However, it wasn't just offense where SC excelled; their defense also stepped up by recovering two fumbles and blocking one punt which was returned for a touchdown. This comprehensive performance showed that when firing on all cylinders, SC can be formidable opponents.

Looking further back to November 4 against Jacksonville State's Gamecocks (JVS), SC secured another important win with a scoreline of 38-28. They showcased resilience and adaptability by overcoming three sacks and still managing nearly 400 passing yards along with four successful red zone attempts out of five.

These past games indicate that while South Carolina has had its ups and downs this season, they have found ways to pull through when it counts most – particularly at home in Columbia where they seem most comfortable.

The Clemson Tigers will undoubtedly pose a significant challenge; however, based on recent performances and statistics from past games – especially considering the home-field advantage – there is reason for optimism among South Carolina fans.

With strategic plays focusing on exploiting Clemson’s weaknesses while bolstering their own defensive strengths demonstrated in recent outings, SC stands more than just a fighting chance; they could very well emerge victorious if they replicate or exceed these performances come game day.

Fans eager to support the South Carolina Gamecocks can catch all the action live from Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia on Saturday night at SEC Network satellite channel number 611 starting at half-past seven PM Eastern Time on November 26th.
