The South Florida Bulls entered the game hoping to improve their season but were met with resistance from a formidable Cincinnati defense. The Bulls' offense managed to accumulate a total of 272 yards throughout the game. Their passing game saw them complete 21 out of 41 attempts for 208 yards, but it was marred by five interceptions and three sacks. On the ground, they rushed for 83 yards on 33 attempts and scored their only touchdown of the game.

Special teams had mixed results; while they did not manage any touchbacks on kickoffs, they did return kicks for an impressive total of 95 yards. In punting situations, they averaged nearly 37 yards across three attempts and successfully placed one inside the opponent's twenty-yard line.

Defensively, The Bulls showed some resilience despite the challenging circumstances. They recorded one sack and five tackles for loss while assisting on tackles a total of twenty-seven times throughout the contest. Furthermore, their defense managed to intercept three passes and recover one fumble.

Penalties seemed to be under control as The Bulls committed only three penalties costing them forty yards in field position. However, their efficiency on third down conversions was just over thirty-eight percent successful which may have hindered their ability to sustain drives.

On scoring opportunities within red zones and goal-to-go situations, The Bulls were perfect with one hundred percent success rates in both categories although these chances were limited throughout the match.

Looking ahead after this tough outing against Cincinnati Bearcats at Nippert Stadium where no fans could attend due to restrictions; South Florida will host East Carolina Pirates at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on October 10th at around seven o'clock PM local time (EST).
