First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams struggling to find their rhythm offensively. Neither the Owls nor the Black Knights managed to put points on the board as defenses dominated early proceedings.

Second Quarter

Temple's offense came alive in the second quarter with Evan Simon leading an impressive drive that resulted in a touchdown pass. Simon completed 15 out of his 25 attempts for a total of 157 yards and one touchdown throughout the game. The Owls also capitalized on field position with Carl Hardin successfully converting two field goals from distances within his range.

Third Quarter

In response, Army's offense found its stride during the third quarter, scoring twice and taking advantage of Temple's defensive lapses. Despite this setback, Temple's defense showed resilience with players like Jay Ducker contributing significantly on both sides of play; Ducker rushed for 46 yards while also making key tackles.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter was marked by defensive stands from both teams as neither side could add further points to their tally. Notably, Javier Morton led Temple’s defense with nine combined tackles alongside Khalil Poteat who matched Morton's effort defensively.
