First Quarter

The Volunteers set the tone early in the first quarter by scoring two touchdowns without allowing any points from the Gators. DeSean Bishop was instrumental during this period, rushing for significant yardage and securing one of his two touchdowns for the game. The Vols' defense also made its presence felt by forcing three-and-outs that stifled any momentum for Florida.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Tennessee continued their offensive onslaught by adding another 17 points to their tally. Joey Aguilar showcased his passing prowess with a precise throw resulting in a touchdown pass to Ethan Davis. Aguilar's accuracy was evident as he completed 77 percent of his passes throughout the game. Meanwhile, Max Gilbert contributed with a successful field goal attempt from 26 yards out.

Third Quarter

Despite being held scoreless in this quarter, Tennessee's defense remained formidable. Edwin Spillman and Daevin Hobbs each recorded sacks that disrupted Florida's offensive rhythm and limited them to just a field goal during this period.

Fourth Quarter

Florida managed to find some footing late in the fourth quarter but it was too little too late as they only added eight points through an impressive drive capped off by a touchdown followed by a successful two-point conversion. However, Star Thomas sealed Tennessee’s victory earlier on with an electrifying 52-yard rush that resulted in another touchdown for Rocky Top.
