The offensive unit for Texas was nothing short of spectacular, with quarterback Quinn Ewers leading the charge. Ewers completed 24 out of his 36 pass attempts, amassing a total of 246 yards through the air and connecting for three touchdowns. His performance was clinical, achieving a completion rate of 67 percent and averaging seven yards per attempt. Notably, his longest pass flew for 33 yards as he posted a quarterback rating of an outstanding 151.57 during the contest.

Gunnar Helm emerged as a key target in Ewers' arsenal, making seven catches that totaled an impressive 98 yards and included one trip to the end zone. Helm's contributions were critical; he averaged fourteen yards per reception with his longest catch stretching twenty-two yards, significantly bolstering Texas' offensive output. Matthew Golden also played a pivotal role in this aerial assault by grabbing six passes for forty-one yards and adding another touchdown to his resume.

The ground game provided an effective complement to Texas’ aerial attack, with Jerrick Gibson leading this facet by notching one touchdown and accumulating thirty-six yards over ten carries. His efforts were part of a collective ground assault that racked up one hundred forty-three total rushing yards from thirty-two attempts.

On defense, Colin Simmons made waves by sacking Michigan’s quarterback once while also recording two tackles for loss including hits on Michigan's signal-caller that resulted in additional lost yardage for the Wolverines. Jahdae Barron made significant defensive plays as well by recovering a fumble and returning it two yards further stifling any momentum from Michigan.

Special teams contributions were notable too; Bert Auburn hit fifty percent of his field goal tries with his longest successful kick coming from twenty-six yards out while Will Stone ensured strategic field positioning throughout much of the game by delivering two touchbacks from six kickoffs.

Looking ahead, Texas is set to welcome UTSA Roadrunners at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin on September 14th at 7:00 PM EDT. The match promises another showcase event as they continue their pursuit this season and will be broadcast live on ESPN (satellite channel number:206) for fans eager not to miss any action.
