Offensive Highlights

The Red Raiders' offense was on full display, amassing a total of 586 yards. Quarterback Behren Morton had an exceptional game, completing 78.947 percent of his passes for 273 yards and contributing four touchdowns without any interceptions. His performance was highlighted by a spectacular longest pass completion of 70 yards that resulted in one of the touchdowns. Running back Tahj Brooks also had an impressive day on the ground, rushing for 109 yards on 17 carries and scoring once; his longest run was for 23 yards.

Notably contributing to the receiving corps were Johncarlos Miller II and Coy Eakin. Miller II caught two passes for a total of 55 yards, including one touchdown catch that spanned an impressive distance of up to forty-five yards long. Eakin made his mark with just one reception but maximized it by scoring a touchdown from seventy-yards out - showcasing both speed and efficiency in open space.

Defensive Standouts

On defense, Miquel Dingle Jr., Justin Horne, and Bralyn Lux stood out among their peers. Lux made significant contributions as well by returning an interception forty-four-yards for a touchdown - highlighting not only individual skill but also capitalizing on team defensive strategies effectively against North Texas's attempts at advancing downfield.
