In an intense battle at Yulman Stadium, the Tulane Green Wave's efforts were not enough to overcome the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Despite their valiant defense that resulted in four sacks and three interceptions, the home team fell short. The defense also managed to recover one fumble while forcing another, showcasing their ability to disrupt Tulsa's offense.

On offense, Tulane's passing game was highlighted by a significant 49-yard touchdown completion contributing to their total passing yardage of 178. However, they struggled with efficiency overall as evidenced by completing only 42 percent of pass attempts and converting just one out of fourteen third-down opportunities. Their rushing attack added another dimension with 130 yards on the ground; however no touchdowns were recorded from these efforts.

Special teams had mixed results for Tulane; punters averaged nearly 50 yards across eight attempts with four landing inside the twenty-yard line. Field goal kickers split their attempts down the middle – making two out of four field goals attempted – including one from beyond forty yards but missing two others.

Penalties played a role in this contest as well; Tulane was flagged nine times for a total loss of sixty-five yards which impacted their overall game flow and field position throughout this encounter.

The upcoming game for the Tulane Green Wave is set against South Florida Bulls at Yulman Stadium on November 20th at noon local time (5 PM GMT). Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+. This will be an opportunity for Tulane to regroup and aim for success in front of their home crowd once again.
