In an intense game at Nippert Stadium, the Tulane Green Wave demonstrated their offensive capabilities by accumulating a total of 383 yards. The rushing attack was particularly effective, contributing 221 yards to the tally. The longest rush was a notable 25-yard dash that helped maintain momentum for the team. With an average of about five yards per play over seventy plays and fifteen first downs achieved through rushing efforts, Tulane's ground game proved to be a cornerstone of their offense.

The passing game also played its part in securing victory for the Green Wave. Quarterback play resulted in one touchdown and completions that amounted to thirteen first downs with no interceptions thrown. A long pass completion of thirty-three yards showcased the aerial threat posed by Tulane's offense.

Special teams were reliable throughout the contest as well; field goal kicking was flawless with two successful attempts out of two - including one from forty-seven yards out - contributing six crucial points to Tulane's total score.

Defensively, Tulane managed to sack Cincinnati’s quarterback once and recorded an interception that halted one drive by their opponents. Pass defense also stepped up when needed, defending four passes over the course of the game which helped keep Cincinnati's scoring opportunities limited.

On penalties, both teams maintained discipline throughout most of this closely contested affair; however it is worth noting that only two penalties were called against Tulane for ten total penalty yards assessed against them.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought win on enemy turf, fans can anticipate another exciting home game for Tulane as they prepare to host UCF Knights at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans on December third at four PM Central Time (5 PM Eastern). This upcoming encounter will be broadcasted live on ABC network where supporters can tune in to watch their team continue its campaign.
