The Golden Hurricane have shown a mixed bag of results in their last few outings. Despite a close loss against Memphis with a score of 10-26, they demonstrated defensive prowess with three sacks and two fumble recoveries. However, they struggled offensively, managing only 207 total yards and converting just 20 percent of third downs.

Their next game saw improvement despite another defeat against Tulane with a scoreline of 13-27. The team's defense was once again notable for securing an interception and two sacks while holding Tulane's offense in check on several occasions. Offensively, there was progress as well; they increased their total yardage to 257 and improved third-down efficiency to approximately 36 percent.

In the following week against SMU Mustangs, although losing by a margin (34-45), Tulsa's offense showed significant signs of life with nearly double the yardage from two games prior (398 total yards) and scoring five touchdowns. Their red zone efficiency was impressive at 75 percent success rate.

Most recently though, Tulsa triumphed over South Florida Bulls with an overall score of 48-42 in what could be described as an offensive spectacle from both sides. The Golden Hurricane managed to outscore their opponents across four quarters showing resilience especially after being down by three points after the first quarter.

With these performances in mind, fans should expect Tulsa’s defense to continue applying pressure but will need more consistency from its offense if they want another victory under their belt.

The upcoming game is set for November 19th at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa; kickoff is scheduled for November 19th at local time (02:00 UTC). Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN2 as both teams battle it out on this anticipated college football evening.
