First Quarter

The game began with Tulsa setting the tone early. Kirk Francis, leading the charge as quarterback, connected on several key passes that set up an opening touchdown for Dominic Richardson. Richardson's rushing prowess was evident as he broke through for a 57-yard touchdown run, giving TU an early advantage.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both defenses tightened up. The Golden Hurricane managed to extend their lead with a field goal by Seth Morgan from 29 yards out. The defense held strong against any offensive attempts by ACU, maintaining their shutout through halftime.

Third Quarter

As play resumed in the third quarter, Tulsa continued to assert dominance on both sides of the ball. Byron Turner Jr., showcasing his defensive skills, recorded three sacks and disrupted ACU's offensive rhythm consistently throughout this period. Meanwhile, Kirk Francis found Brody Foley in the end zone for another touchdown pass that widened TU's lead further.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter of play, Elijah Green intercepted a pass from ACU’s quarterback which led to another scoring opportunity for TU. Ajay Allen capitalized on this turnover with a powerful 40-yard rushing touchdown run that sealed their victory convincingly.

The Wildcats managed only one late-game score but were otherwise stifled by Tulsa’s relentless defense led by J'Dan Burnett who contributed two sacks during crucial moments of gameplay.
