First Quarter

The game began with the Buckeyes taking an early lead, scoring 10 points while keeping the Bruins scoreless. The Westwood Warriors struggled to find their rhythm against a formidable Ohio State defense.

Second Quarter

Ohio State extended their dominance in the second quarter, adding another 17 points to their tally. Despite efforts from UCLA's defense, including contributions from players like Jalen Woods who recorded a sack and tackle for loss, they couldn't contain the relentless attack of the Buckeyes.

Third Quarter

In an attempt to rally back, UCLA managed to score their first touchdown of the game in this quarter. Luke Duncan connected with Kwazi Gilmer for an 18-yard touchdown pass. However, Ohio State responded swiftly by adding two more touchdowns to maintain control of the match.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw Mateen Bhaghani successfully convert a field goal for UCLA, but it was not enough as Ohio State added another touchdown to seal their victory. Will Karoll's punting was notable throughout with an average of over 44 yards per punt and three punts landing inside OSU's 20-yard line.
