UNLV Rebels Set to Battle Air Force Falcons at Falcon Stadium in College Football Spectacle

As the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels prepare to face the Air Force Falcons at Falcon Stadium, fans are eager for insights on how their team might fare in this upcoming college football game. The UNLV Rebels have had a challenging season, but there's reason to believe they could deliver a surprise.

In their last game on November 20 against the San Diego State Aztecs at Allegiant Stadium, the Rebels showed both promise and areas needing improvement. They managed an average gain of 6.6 yards per play and accumulated a total of 394 yards. However, turnovers were an issue with two interceptions thrown during the game. Despite these setbacks, UNLV demonstrated efficiency in red zone situations with a success rate of 100 percent.

The passing game was strong for UNLV; they completed over 61 percent of their passes for an impressive total of 372 yards and two touchdowns. This aerial attack will be crucial against Air Force's defense. On the ground, however, they struggled with only 22 rushing yards from 26 attempts – something that will need drastic improvement if they want to control the clock and keep Air Force's offense off the field.

Defensively speaking, UNLV showed tenacity against San Diego State by recording three sacks and forcing two fumbles while allowing only one rushing touchdown. This defensive resilience will be vital when facing an Air Force team known for its disciplined ground game.

Looking back further to November 13 against Hawaii Warriors also at Allegiant Stadium provides additional context; despite three turnovers by UNLV that day including two interceptions thrown by their quarterback - they still managed to secure a win with solid rushing performance totaling nearly six yards per carry and three touchdowns on ground plays alone.

The key takeaway from these past performances is that when UNLV minimizes mistakes and capitalizes on scoring opportunities particularly within red zones - they can compete fiercely even against formidable opponents like SDSU or Hawaii who had better records going into those games respectively than what current standings reflect for either team now heading into this matchup versus AF Falcons who themselves are not without vulnerabilities as evidenced throughout this season thus far.

UNLV fans should remain cautiously optimistic about their chances in this next contest given recent displays of offensive firepower through air coupled with sporadic yet impactful defensive plays which if executed consistently could very well lead them towards victory come November 26th under lights at Falcon Stadium where kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 PM local time (Mountain Standard Time). The action can be caught live on CBS Sports Network – so make sure not to miss what promises to be another thrilling chapter in college football!
