UNLV Rebels VS San Diego State Aztecs

At Dignity Health Sports Park, the UNLV Rebels struggled to find their rhythm against a formidable San Diego State defense. The home team capitalized on their opportunities, leading by seven points after the first quarter and extending that lead to twenty by halftime. The third quarter saw the Rebels put up six points, but it was not enough to shift the momentum of the game as they failed to score in the fourth quarter.

The UNLV offense had difficulty gaining ground, managing only 156 total yards throughout the game. Their passing attack was limited to an average of just over three yards per attempt, resulting in a mere 106 net passing yards despite completing seventeen passes. On ground plays, they fared slightly better with an average of over two yards per carry for a total of eighty rushing yards.

Special teams had some notable moments for UNLV; one punt was blocked by their unit and they achieved an average kickoff return yardage of nearly twenty-eight on three returns. However, these efforts were overshadowed by other aspects such as missing both field goal and extra point attempts which could have added crucial points on board for them.

Defensively, UNLV managed one sack but could not prevent SDSU from racking up thirty-four points against them. Penalties also hindered both teams' progress during play; however neither team exceeded ten penalties or reached one hundred penalty yards assessed against them.

Looking ahead for fans of University of Nevada Las Vegas football team: The next challenge awaits at Allegiant Stadium where they will host Nevada Wolf Pack on November 1st at 7:30 PM local time (Pacific Daylight Time). This encounter can be watched live on Fox Sports 1 channel number two hundred nineteen for those eager to see how their team will fare in this upcoming contest.
